As Friday night moved closer, thousands of people across the country breathed a sigh of anticipation. Why? Because the debate between Senator Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker was about to play out. And people everywhere KNEW that it would be a night to remember.
And it was. In a moment that almost broke the internet — and I am not exaggerating — Walker decided to revert back to childhood by pilling out a police badge on stage in his ongoing insane efforts to make people believe he’s a police officer. Walker then proceeded to be chastised by the moderator who was on the case. She lectured him for bringing a “prop” on stage.
It’s against the rules to use props, the moderator said. “It’s not a prop. It’s real,” the badge burglar responded, proving to the audience that he, indeed, should have exercised his right to remain silent.
“You’re very well aware of the rules, aren’t you?” the moderator asked the child Held hostage by his own lunacy, Walker attempted to talk over the moderator as the audience roared with laughter.
The new sheriff in town finally put away his cracker jack badge, to the disappointment of many who undoubtedly were waiting for Walker to pull out a fake Police scanner. Walker’s assuming the position of a police officer firmly put to bed, the debate continued.
So yes, this was funny. Actually, it was hilarious. But we must also concentrate on some of the other lunatic things the wanna be Law and Order star said. For example, when the topic of high insulin prices came up, Walker had a brilliant (sarcastic) suggestion on how to handle said prices. People should just eat right.
“Unless your eating right. Insulin is doing you no good.” Thank you, Officer Walker, for blaming your own constituents for the high price of insulin. We sort of expected you to say that. On a positive note, at least he didn’t pretend to be a pharmacist.
The insulin debate is something people must take seriously, and if you know anyone who is ON insulin in the state of Georgia, why not tell them what Walker said? So, to sum up — you’ve got a choice, Georgia voters. Vote for a kind, compassionate, intelligent man in Senator Warnock, or vote for a lying liar who has said he’s a cow, a Cherokee, and a police officer. I do hope you make the right decision.
